I am a lighting cameraman with a passion for people and the natural world.
I have been lucky enough to work on some extraordinary productions over the years in some of the world’s wildest and remotest locations. There are great tools out there to achieve the best shots, sequences and films. I'm currently loving the Arri Alexa and Red Epic. With decent primes on the front it really can look quite stunning. I also like to use cinebule, steadicam, cranes, tracks and timelapse, but without losing sight of the basics.
This experience helps me work with directors and producers to realise a common vision.
From concert halls to deserts, jungles, polar regions and mountains, I am gathering the ways, means and dark arts to produce the best footage I can and get the most out of each environment.
Most recent projects include:
Survival: BBC (New landmark bluechip series)
